(for Michael Palmer)

Nobody wants to hear
the duality of bells, still.

Nobody wants to hear a stone
angel's song, here
sieves in soft rain swaddle.

Nobody wants to hear the man
walking in 8 track rain from
his home movie.

No one wants to hear fiber sparks
trail of bifocals breaking in o,
A. Burgess.

No one wants to freeze;
a sprocket winds back.

A Prayer

The dreampsalm echoed from her,
the monosyllabic moon fugue

of chilled prayer at noontide
Eloped moons serrated with sigils

savage as alchemical, beatific bulbs
spinning and spun as the acoustic webbed

maelstrom, astral fire dark green,
hushed by the solipsism of those coded

cenobites classifying the fire burning
between emergency glass, their nerve sciences

hermetically numbering the dollar's anterooms,
ringing with plaga. Call up these pallid Demons,

carnival star constellates spinning in time
to a mad music, and bring out your dead.
