we are sustained by not being the
center of the universe the center of the universe is where the two
halves split we could never continue if we were once again divided the
mitosis would erase the idea of nature from our minds

was the moon thirsty was the earth tired of being worth more beneath the sun there are verses written beneath the crust of all of this those words are alone in the wind that has worked itself way down from the firmament to tease our ears on a fall day i shiver i shiver i shiver to think about what part of reality i would kiss when the final descent landed to never bounce again
